The MyBroadband Conference & Expo will this year serve as the official launch pad for the NETOGY WIT300, a sophisticated Wi-Fi Cordless IP Telephone distributed exclusively to the South African channel by Nology.

Showcased at Nology’s stand on Thursday, 18 October 2018 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, the NETOGY WIT300 represents an important step in the company’s ongoing delivery of leading solutions to the unified communications marketplace.

The WIT300 seamlessly connects to any Wi-Fi access point, allowing users to make VoIP calls over SIP whenever and wherever they have Wi-Fi connectivity. Importantly, it allows freedom of movement; users can take and make calls away from their desks and even roam between access points without dropping calls* (access point dependent).

Additionally, the WIT300 Wi-Fi IP Phone mitigates the need for a dedicated and separate DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication) network.

“The NETOGY WIT300 offers a strong value proposition as companies don’t have to deploy separate DECT networks to enable call roaming throughout the office. Unlike other DECT devices, businesses can simply use the WIT300 IP Phone and their existing data networks to enable call roaming throughout the office,” comments Alex Bantjes.

Some of the NETOGY WIT300’s highlights include:

  • Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi
  • Colour screen
  • Built-in Bluetooth headset support
  • HD audio support
  • Seamlessly roam between mesh Access Points
  • Enjoy VoIP cost savings with SIP
