Job Summary:

Effectively carry out all administrative functions relating to the procurement of Nology products including the completion and monitoring of documentation and processes starting from the point of order from the vendors until the stock is received in the warehouse. .

Key Performance Areas:

Key Duties:

  • Complete the procurement process in the managers absence
  • Conduct daily checks provide updates in internal systems regarding later orders
  • Submit supplier payment documents to the accounts department timely
  • Track and trace international inbound parcels
  • Arrange collection of local procured orders with logistics supervisor
  • Check, process and receive stock/licenses into systems with serial/mac number
  • Communicate QC required units for customer specific orders with forwarding company, receiving clerk and logistics supervisor
  • Ensure other departments stock ordered is handed over accurately and on time with needed documents
  • Manage credit note stock from receiving to back in stock
  • Manage demo stock received process up to back in stock
  • Maintain department budget
  • Maintain up to date filling and archiving of departmental documents
  • Monthly department stationary and packing material orders
  • Do monthly checks on inter-company and branch accounts

The above list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to undertake reasonable additional duties/projects requested by the Department Manager/Director.

 

Education and Qualifications Required:

  • Grade 12
  • Qualification in Logistics or supply chain an advantage

 

Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a procurement, logistics or warehouse administration e role
  • Experience in a distribution company will be advantageous
