Job Summary:

To co-ordinate administrative duties for procurement and logistics in the department.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Inbound logistic
  • Warehouse administration

 

Key Duties:

  • Daily checks and update on order running late on incoming stock update Smartsheet and ERP
  • Submit supplier payment documents to accounts
  • Track and trace international inbound parcels and arrange payments due to courier service
  • Communicate QC required units for customer specific orders with forwarding company receiving clerk and log supervisor
  • Arrange collection of local procured orders with supervisor
  • Check, process and receive stock/licences into the system with serial/mac number
  • Ensure other departments stock ordered is handed over accurately and on time with needed documents
  • Manage credit note stock from receiving to back in stock
  • Manager demo stock received process up to back in stock
  • Maintain department budget for the year
  • Maintain up to date filling and archiving of departmental documents
  • Monthly department stationary and packing material orders

The above list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to undertake reasonable additional duties/projects requested by the Department Manager/Director.

 

Education and Qualifications Required:

  • Grade 12
  • Qualification in logistics or supply chain an advantage
  • Qualification in business administration an advantage

 

Experience Required:

  • At least 3-5 year experience in general/office administration, preferably in logistics/warehouse
  • Customer service experience
  • Computer literate
